How to set up your Te Kāhui Kāhu Online account

Before starting - make sure you have the following:

  • A computer, laptop, or tablet
  • Your smartphone.

Why do I have to use multi-factor authentication? 

We use a multi-factor authentication process to help users of Te Kāhui Kāhu Online comply with our security standards needed to protect the information in our system.

Step 3: Salesforce Authenticator App

a) Download App

  • If you already have an Authenticator app on your smartphone then you can use that one and follow its verification process. Then jump to step 5
  • If not, download the ‘Salesforce Authenticator’ app from the App Store or Google Play. Make sure you select the correct app as others may have charges attached.

b) Select ‘Add an Account’

  • Once you have set up Salesforce Authenticator, from the main screen of the app there will be a blue button to ‘Add an Account’
  • This will generate a unique two word phrase that you will need for the next step.

Step 4: Connect Authenticator App

a) Enter the two word phrase into Te Kāhui Kāhu Online

  • This is the unique two-word phrase that the Authenticator App has generated
  • Enter this into the box as provided on Te Kāhui Kāhu Online.

b) Verify your identity through your email address

  • Check your email inbox for a verification code
  • Enter this into the box as provided on Te Kāhui Kāhu Online.

Step 5: Finish setting up your profile

  • Create your unique password using the requirements provided.

Finished!

  • Keep your password and smartphone secure. You will need them every time you log into Te Kāhui Kāhu Online.
